“Some people take photos. I paint. It’s how I don’t forget.”
My work began with portraits and figures—faces and bodies with something to say. Over time, my subjects have expanded: glints of light on glass, the sun setting over a nearby lake, the moment a child’s eyes brim with happiness and wonder. I look for the stories and moments worth remembering.
Art that holds onto the feeling before it disappears.
